Privacy Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid in Richardson, Texas or Chicago, Illinois; in-office visibility required three days per week and work from home two days per week. Relocation is not available, and visa sponsorship will not be extended.

Base pay: $45,900–$102,100 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Support Privacy Office operations, initiatives, policies, procedures, and process documentation.
• Gather and analyze privacy case, incident, contract, risk, and compliance data from multiple systems.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual privacy reports and prepare ad hoc analyses.
• Track and triage privacy complaints, disclosures, incidents, and corrective actions through resolution.
• Facilitate privacy risk assessments and analyze potential breaches under HIPAA and related requirements.
• Draft compliant responses and notices for state and federal regulators and support audits and investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, health information management, business administration, compliance, or a related field, or four years of direct experience in healthcare privacy, compliance, health information management, auditing, or a related area.
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry and strong analytical, decision-making, organizational, communication, and problem-resolution skills.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information while managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to collaborate with peers and departments to resolve issues and complete projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Workday, Copilot, and healthcare technology systems.
• Ability to work in the Richardson or Chicago office three days per week; relocation and visa sponsorship are not available.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of the HIPAA Privacy Rule, HIPAA Security Rule, HITECH, and healthcare privacy regulations.
• Experience performing privacy assessments and documenting findings.
• CHPS, CIPP/US, CHC, or a similar certification.
• Knowledge of privacy monitoring tools, access management, Tableau, Power BI, ERP, and audit reporting systems.
• Strong knowledge of HCSC organizational processes.
