Senior Engineer – Partner Network Management (Greater China)

Location: Flexible across China and Hong Kong SAR; listed locations include Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou. Remote work is not available.

What you will do

• Develop third-party airline and transportation partner strategies supporting Asia Pacific network growth, customer requirements, and operational resilience.
• Evaluate airline, charter, interline, and transportation partners using service, capacity, transit-time, and cost analyses.
• Lead partner onboarding and implementation from initial concept through operational launch, coordinating procurement, legal, finance, operations, customs, and commercial teams.
• Monitor partner performance and drive schedule adjustments, capacity reallocations, routing improvements, and contingency solutions.
• Resolve partner-related operational disruptions and support irregular-operations recovery with regional operations teams and external providers.
• Build dashboards, reporting tools, analytical models, and process improvements that increase planning efficiency and operational visibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations research, aviation management, supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field.
• 0–10 years of experience in airline network planning, cargo operations, transportation planning, logistics, or related fields.
• Experience working with airline partners, interline agreements, transportation providers, or external network operators.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and cross-functional project leadership skills.
• Business fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese is essential; Chinese fluency is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in air cargo, express transportation, airline, or logistics environments.
• Knowledge of Asia Pacific aviation markets, regulatory environments, airport constraints, airline scheduling, capacity planning, and route economics.
• Experience with data-analysis tools, automation, visualization platforms, optimization models, procurement, contract management, or partner performance management.
