What you will do
- Manage end-to-end domestic and international inbound and outbound logistics operations, including on-time delivery and inventory control.
- Handle import and export customs clearance, documentation, chemical transportation requirements, and AEO compliance.
- Lead cross-functional logistics projects and implement workflow improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with internal departments, customs authorities, external agents, and clients while maintaining operational safety.
- Track logistics KPIs, analyze freight and warehousing costs, and prepare performance reports for the Logistics Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Chemistry, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, customs affairs, and trade compliance.
- Fluent English with the ability to independently manage international business communication and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and strong IT database experience.
- Knowledge of chemical logistics, EHS regulations, customs compliance, and national trade laws.
- Demonstrated experience in departmental management, project execution, teamwork, communication, and process improvement.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in the chemical industry.
- Digital automation programming skills.
- Project Management certification such as PMP.
- GBPL certification or equivalent leadership training.
