TL;DR
Senior Analyst, Air Product APAC (Air Freight): Analyzing and developing air freight space procurement strategies, charter programs, airline performance management, and new commercial linehaul lanes with an accent on demand planning, carrier selection, pricing, and capacity management. Focus on negotiating Block Space Agreements, coordinating charter and allocation requirements, and solving operational capacity challenges across APAC trade lanes.

What you will do
- Analyze air freight demand across trade lanes and determine medium- and long-term airline space requirements.
- Review airline schedules and identify carriers that meet express and freight forwarding service requirements.
- Negotiate and establish Block Space Agreements with airline partners and manage related approval and signing processes.
- Develop pricing strategies, performance measurement approaches, and KPIs for airline partners.
- Coordinate with Operations teams and carriers on new lanes, allocation adjustments, rate revisions, capacity cutbacks, and issue resolution.
- Manage full and partial charter requirements and support short-term and peak-season capacity procurement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Transport & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Quantitative Analysis, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of experience in air freight, airline operations, space procurement, or finance-related functions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong hands-on data analysis capabilities.
- Good command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in the air freight forwarding or express industry.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access.
