Part Time General Service Technician / Mechanic

What you will do

• Perform maintenance and repair services including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and suspension alignments.
• Conduct state-mandated vehicle emissions and safety inspections.
• Troubleshoot guest vehicle concerns and communicate damage or malfunctions clearly.
• Complete accurate courtesy vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance reports.
• Follow federal, state, and local requirements for service operations, hazardous waste disposal, and OSHA right-to-know procedures.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping standards in a high-volume shop.

Requirements

• Current driver's license.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift or move more than 50 pounds occasionally and work in tight spaces or beneath raised vehicles.
• Ability to use hand tools, drive manual-transmission vehicles, and navigate a computer efficiently.
• Ability to stand or walk for most of the workday and maintain a brisk work pace.
