Communication Training Course Instructor (Professional Communication)

Location: Hybrid delivery at or near Fort Liberty, North Carolina, with virtual instruction across the Southeastern United States and U.S. East Coast.

What you will do

• Develop lesson plans for professional communication and organizational effectiveness training.
• Facilitate instructor-led classroom and virtual sessions for Army Reserve civilian leadership development programs.
• Teach verbal, written, interpersonal, intercultural, nonverbal, and electronic communication skills.
• Use discussions, coaching exercises, scenarios, interactive activities, LMS platforms, and audiovisual technologies.
• Conduct assessments, provide participant feedback, and support curriculum updates based on survey results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5–10+ years of professional training, facilitation, instructional delivery, or military/civilian workforce development experience.
• Experience supporting DOD or military-sector clients is required or strongly relevant.
• Skills in facilitation, adult learning, communication, curriculum delivery, virtual instruction, and assessment.
• NACI eligibility is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to use business and learning technologies.

Nice to have

• Instructional certifications.
• Advanced experience with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
