Senior Application Analyst - Population Health (Healthcare IT)

What you will do

• Provide expert-level support for clinical and business applications within defined service-level agreements.
• Plan and execute application implementations, upgrades, security patches, decommissioning, and data archiving.
• Architect integrated clinical and business workflows across multiple applications and service areas.
• Lead analyst-led projects, coordinate stakeholders, document decisions, and communicate project status.
• Maintain application, architecture, integration, dependency-map, disaster-recovery, security, and operational-run-book documentation.
• Mentor application analysts and collaborate with software vendors and internal departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, healthcare informatics, or 11+ years of industry experience.
• 8+ years of experience in healthcare IT or an equivalent application analyst role.
• Extensive experience with Healthy Planet and Compass Rose; strong technical and application build skills.
• Experience with ITIL-aligned incident, problem, change, release, and service-level management processes.
• Deep understanding of US healthcare information systems, electronic health records, and clinical and business workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, collaboration, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Epic’s VBPM platform.
