What you will do
- Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, map workflows, and design Epic builds aligned with operational goals.
- Configure records, master files, and tools, ensuring environment parity and adhering to change management standards.
- Develop and execute unit, integrated, and UAT test plans, resolving defects and documenting evidence.
- Collaborate with interface teams on HL7 and FHIR workflows and partner with analytics teams for reporting needs.
- Support the design and delivery of role-based training curricula and maintain training environments.
- Manage service requests and incidents, meeting SLAs through effective triage and root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or 5+ years of relevant experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in system/application analysis, preferably within a healthcare environment.
- Experience with Epic applications and healthcare workflows (clinical or revenue cycle).
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, workflow design, and testing skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL, SDLC practices, and Waterfall/Agile methodologies.
- Must be based in Ohio to be eligible for remote work.
Nice to have
- Current Epic Certification or proficiency in modules such as HB, PB, Cadence, Referrals, Orders, or ClinDoc.
- Epic Training Environment Build or Principal Trainer certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Exposure to system integration concepts (HL7, FHIR) and reporting tools (Clarity, Caboodle).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
