Financial Reporting & Analysis Principal

Location: Nashville, Tennessee, United States

Base pay: $92,700–$167,500 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Lead and control financial reporting and analysis activities.
• Develop and implement the financial reporting strategy.
• Advise and consult senior management on financial accounting, reporting, and analysis.
• Collaborate with numerous groups across a large organization.
• Apply project management, prioritization, and time-management skills to reporting initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience, including employee motivation, development, performance management, and hiring.
• Strong analytical, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and demonstrated project management experience.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant qualification.
• Experience with insurance statutory accounting and reporting.
