Controller/CFO

Location: Bemidji, Minnesota, USA; flexible work schedule including work-from-home options

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee accounting and financial operations, including the accounting team, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and purchasing.
• Develop and monitor finance and accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls.
• Supervise accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, audits, and tax reporting.
• Present financial results, forecasts, budgets, and recommendations to company leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Develop financial goals and performance metrics, analyze budget variances, and advise on operations and capital structure.
• Coordinate budgets and multi-scenario forecasts while leading invoicing, purchasing, A/R, and A/P activities to support cash flow and liquidity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial management.
• Proven experience leading finance and accounting in a comparable organization.
• Strong accounting, financial reporting, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage organizational financial strategy.
