Location: Richardson, Texas, United States

Base pay: $84,400–$152,300 per year, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Lead software engineering projects across product and technology stacks.
• Plan and forecast engineering resources, skills, and capacity.
• Support software engineering platforms and cloud computing or SaaS initiatives.
• Guide Agile, Scrum, and iterative software development from requirements through deployment.
• Translate technical issues into business terms and communicate business concepts to technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate priorities and delivery with stakeholders and vendors in a matrixed organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Information Technology experience, or 9 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience leading software engineering projects and understanding engineering skill sets for specific product or technology stacks.
• Experience or knowledge in software engineering platforms, cloud computing or SaaS, and analysis and modeling tools such as Excel, Business Insights, JIRA, and GitHub.
• Experience with resource planning, forecasting, and SDLC methodologies including Agile, Scrum, or iterative development.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing, multidisciplinary, matrixed environment and distinguish tactical from strategic efforts.

• Business case development experience.
• Experience optimizing engineering resources across technologies and platforms, including vendor resources.
• Knowledge of predictive analytics and Scrum team development.
• Experience managing vendors through statements of work, managed services, or time-and-materials engagements.
