Health Consultant (Medicaid)

Location: US; remote role with some travel required

Salary: $70,100–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Support implementation and project management across multiple client engagements.
• Lead workstreams and manage small projects, staff, and tasks within timelines and budgets.
• Assess business operations, best practices, and opportunities to improve service efficiency.
• Interpret federal and state laws and regulations related to Medicaid Program Integrity, managed care, and provider oversight.
• Facilitate client discussions, delegate work, and provide technical assistance to state agencies.
• Support business development by researching trends, leading proposal writing teams, and preparing reports and client deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or five years of experience; a master’s degree in public administration or a government-focused MBA is preferred.
• 5+ years of Medicaid oversight, Program Integrity, or public sector consulting experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of state-administered programs, federal regulatory oversight, Medicaid managed care, and provider oversight.
• Ability to work accurately with large data sets and critically evaluate and improve processes.
• Strong Microsoft Office, business writing, presentation, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.
• Must be able to work in the US. PCG does not sponsor newly hired foreign national workers for work authorization, including H-1B sponsorship.
