Placement Coordinator

Location: San Diego County, California, United States. Full-time in-office work is required Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Compensation: $21.50–$25.50.

What you will do

• Evaluate participant skills and barriers, and match clients with appropriate employment opportunities.
• Develop and update individualized employment, education, training, and supportive-service plans.
• Monitor participant progress, attendance, compliance, and achievement of stated outcomes.
• Maintain accurate case files, databases, county forms, records, and follow-up systems.
• Coordinate with county agencies, employers, educational programs, and community resources.
• Provide in-person case management and maintain monthly contact with clients placed in employment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication, customer relations, active listening, empathy, and cultural awareness skills.
• Ability to support and motivate participants with physical and/or mental disabilities.
• Strong accuracy, confidentiality, organization, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
• Must reside in San Diego County and work full-time onsite.
