Director & Actuary- Part D (Work from Home)

Location: Remote within the continental United States; excludes Alaska, California, Hawaii, and New York.

Base pay: $133,400–$247,700 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Direct complex actuarial teams, long-term projects, and work streams.
• Set actuarial strategy and guide the selection of appropriate modeling tools, technology, and resources.
• Ensure compliance with applicable requirements and Actuarial Standards of Practice.
• Prepare written and oral presentations for senior leadership and support high-level decision-making.
• Manage and develop Directors and their teams while building effective cross-functional and external relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement resulting in administrative savings or financial improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or another relevant field.
• FSA and MAAA credentials, or four years of health insurance actuarial experience at the ASA level as a substitute for FSA.
• At least seven years of actuarial experience in health insurance or a related field.
• Expert understanding of actuarial concepts, multiple actuarial areas, and at least one business segment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation, training, and presentations.
• PC proficiency, including Word and Excel, plus experience overseeing budgets, developing business cases, and conducting cost-benefit analyses.
