Claims Quality Assurance Supervisor

Location: Fully remote; occasional travel may be required.

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead and supervise Claims Auditors and Lead Adjusters.
• Conduct and review quality assurance audits covering claims handling performance and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze audit findings, trends, root causes, and operational opportunities, then create written improvement plans.
• Partner with claims leadership, operations, training, IT, and business stakeholders to improve quality standards, customer outcomes, systems, and reporting.
• Facilitate calibration sessions and provide technical coaching and training based on audit results.
• Manage recruiting, employee performance, scheduling, professional development, and talent retention activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Property & Casualty insurance experience.
• Previous claims supervisory or claims management experience with deep technical expertise in claims handling.
• Experience handling bodily injury, property damage, and subrogation claims.
• Strong knowledge of claims compliance, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Experience analyzing quality assurance data, identifying trends, and driving performance improvements.
• Strong communication, coaching, leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and insurance claims systems.

Nice to have

• Experience in non-standard auto insurance.
• Experience building quality assurance programs, audit frameworks, or compliance initiatives.
