Trainer Stop Loss Claims

What you will do

• Develop training curricula and documentation covering Specific Stop Loss claims processing, data entry, checklists, payment handling, follow-up, and correspondence.
• Train new claims auditors, measure their progress, and assess readiness for production.
• Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance to assigned claims teams.
• Review and analyze referred claims, support over-authorization reviews, and audit claims during peak periods.
• Identify and implement process improvements and contribute ideas for new processes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Specific Stop Loss claims experience.
• Prior team lead or management experience in Stop Loss claims, including quality assurance.
• Experience with industry repricing methodologies such as PPO, Wrap Networks, and Reference Based Pricing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, written, and verbal communication skills, with close attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Experience auditing aggregate Stop Loss claims.
• A history of successful process improvement initiatives.
• Experience leading a team or managing processes.
