Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant (Creole & English)

Location: Remote from the Philippines, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, or Mauritius; EST business hours required.

Salary: $7–$9 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Communicate with patients in Haitian Creole and English by phone, email, and video calls.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments and follow up on prescriptions, care instructions, and visit details.
• Handle patient intake and update medical records in EHR systems.
• Verify insurance information and assist with basic billing and referrals.
• Support telehealth workflows and documentation while coordinating with healthcare providers and clinic staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow healthcare privacy standards.

Requirements

• Fluent spoken and written Haitian Creole and English required.
• Previous experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant, Healthcare VA, or medical office staff member.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems, medical terminology, and healthcare workflows.
• Comfort speaking with patients and handling video calls.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Availability for US business hours, with a willingness to work EST hours.
