CI010: Customs Broker

Location: Airport Road, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, U.S.; onsite role

What you will do

• Process customs entries for inbound and outbound shipments in accordance with local clearance regulations.
• Work directly with customers to support fast and efficient customs clearance.
• Maintain knowledge of current customs regulations and legislation.
• Analyze tariffs and inspection requirements to support hirify.global compliance.
• Coordinate resolution of customs documentation, tariff, and fine-related issues.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries and provide direction to lower-level staff when appropriate.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Four years of experience in a customs environment working with diverse types of international freight.
• Knowledge of local customs service regulations and legislation for inbound and outbound clearance.
