Care Manager BH (Onsite, PA, Hollidaysburg)

Location: Onsite, Monday–Friday, at the Blair County OMH office, 81 Holliday Hills Dr., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648. This position is not available for remote work.

Salary: $64,285–$102,855 annually, plus potential short-term incentives and benefits.

What you will do

• Authorize and conduct concurrent reviews of inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance abuse services.
• Assess medical necessity, treatment effectiveness, and utilization issues while proposing alternative treatment plans when appropriate.
• Provide telephone triage, crisis intervention, emergency authorizations, and assistance to members and providers.
• Develop and oversee discharge plans and coordinate care with providers, facilities, community agencies, and clinical team members.
• Conduct quality clinical reviews, educate providers and members, and participate in quality improvement data collection and analysis.
• Support network development by identifying and recruiting quality providers as needed.

Requirements

• Current state, Commonwealth, or customer-specific clinical licensure is required.
• One or more of the following credentials is required: CEAP, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LSW, or RN with the necessary degree and applicable state or compact-state licensure.
• At least two years of post-degree experience in healthcare, behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance abuse care.
• Experience with inpatient and/or outpatient care settings, utilization management procedures, and community behavioral health resources.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 or the most current diagnostic edition.
• Strong organization, time management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
