General Manager - Optical

Location: 2400 Sheila Ln, Richmond, VA 23225, USA; onsite, full-time

Salary: USD 44,720–54,454.40 per year, plus bonus opportunities

What you will do

• Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and policy compliance.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop associates while supporting recruitment, scheduling, retention, and performance evaluations.
• Manage store sales, profitability, budgets, supplies, merchandising, promotions, and financial reporting.
• Monitor performance and ensure excellent customer and patient experiences.
• Partner with the Doctor to support high-quality patient care.
• Conduct audits and maintain corporate, facility, safety, quality, merchandising, and service standards.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of retail experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for customer service and sales performance.
• Solid understanding of store operations and business performance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; supervisory and optical industry experience preferred.
