District Manager (Optical Retail)

Location: Kansas City, Missouri, USA; regular travel throughout the district and frequent in-person contact with store management required.

What you will do

• Lead operational and strategic activities across retail stores within an assigned territory.
• Drive profitable sales by analyzing business performance, identifying financial opportunities, and executing business plans.
• Maintain high customer service, quality, safety, compliance, merchandising, and promotional standards.
• Analyze reports, identify trends and potential problems, and provide progress updates to regional leadership.
• Recruit, assess, develop, and retain store management and staff across the district.
• Coach and mentor managers while maintaining professional relationships with doctors.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of retail management or operations experience.
• 2–4 years of multi-unit retail management or operations experience.
• 4–6 years of experience as a general manager, assistant manager, or similar retail or optical management professional.
• Knowledge of the optical industry and experience writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to travel throughout the district to perform role responsibilities.

• ABO and NCLE certification.
