(USA) Vision Center Manager NL 1

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global Supercenter in Gaylord, Michigan, United States

Salary: $24.50–$34.50 per hour, plus performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Drive Vision Center sales through merchandise presentation, competitive pricing, inventory control, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of customer and community needs.
• Lead customer and member service standards, resolve complaints, and uphold the company’s Open Door Policy.
• Supervise, hire, train, mentor, assign, recognize, and develop Vision Center Associates.
• Provide quality eyewear services, including customer consultation, product selection, measurements, prescription verification, minor frame repair, and optical equipment maintenance.
• Monitor legal, safety, asset protection, confidentiality, operational, and quality assurance requirements, and implement improvement plans.
• Build stakeholder relationships, support company initiatives, measure results, and promote continuous learning and belonging.

Requirements

• Completion of two or more years of college, or one year of retail experience plus one year of supervisory experience, or two years of general work experience including one year of optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws and regulations.
• Experience supervising Associates is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite at the Gaylord, Michigan Vision Center.
