Senior Blockchain Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States; Apex, NC is listed as the location.

Salary: $140,000–$200,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy secure smart contracts using Solidity.
• Build scalable blockchain applications, dApps, backend services, and enterprise integrations.
• Integrate systems with Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Polygon, Avalanche, and other blockchain platforms.
• Develop REST APIs, GraphQL services, wallet integrations, tokenization, digital identity, and transaction processing solutions.
• Optimize blockchain performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years of hands-on blockchain development.
• Strong expertise with Solidity, Ethereum, and EVM-compatible networks.
• Experience with Node.js, Java, or .NET Core, plus React, Angular, or Vue.js for dApp development.
• Knowledge of ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 token standards.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, SQL/NoSQL databases, Git, CI/CD, Azure, or AWS.
• Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, cryptography, distributed systems, and Agile development.

Nice to have

• Hyperledger Fabric and Layer-2 solutions such as Polygon, Arbitrum, or Optimism.
• Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, or Remix.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, blockchain security, and smart contract auditing.
