Location: New York, New York; Miami, Florida; or remote within the USA. The role follows a hybrid approach at hub offices, while employees outside hub areas may work remotely. In-person onboarding at one of the company’s office locations is required.
Base salary: $140,000–$200,000 annually in New York State, excluding discretionary bonus and equity.

What you will do
- Develop and ship products and features for the platform.
- Design, develop, and test operating-systems-level software and high-performance backend systems.
- Write automated tests and collaborate with QA to verify feature correctness and reliability.
- Contribute technical input to product planning, design, requirements, and project implementation.
- Review code for correctness, maintainability, style, and information-security concerns.
- Support production systems, improve risk monitoring, resolve processing issues, and drive technical problems through resolution.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Ability to work with Scala, C++, or TypeScript, or willingness to learn them.
- Experience writing automated tests and maintaining reliable production software.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, manage dependencies, and balance speed with quality.
- Ability to adapt to multiple competing priorities and own technical issues through resolution.
Nice to have
- Experience with or strong knowledge of Bitcoin, Ethereum, or blockchain technology.
- Experience or knowledge in finance, payments, trading, or exchange systems.
