PLM Application Engineer (PLM)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Own the technical operation of enterprise PLM platforms based on PTC Windchill or Siemens Teamcenter.
• Install, configure, upgrade, migrate, and performance-tune PLM environments.
• Operate high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions for PLM platforms.
• Manage PLM integrations, brokers, middleware, databases, and Linux/Unix infrastructure.
• Partner with functional, engineering, and manufacturing teams to deliver a reliable, performant, and secure PLM ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and maintain clear technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of PLM platform administration experience; the posting also specifies 6+ years of overall experience.
• Production experience with PTC Windchill or Siemens Teamcenter.
• Strong experience with PLM upgrades and migrations.
• Working knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server database administration, plus strong Linux/Unix administration skills.
• Experience with PLM high availability and disaster recovery, integration brokers, middleware, and scripting with shell, Python, or Ansible.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience operating PLM on AWS, Azure, or OCI.
• Infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD experience for PLM environments.
• PTC or Siemens PLM certifications.
• Experience with CAD integration patterns at scale.
