Product Support Engineer (Java, Python, JavaScript)

Location: Argentina (Remote); working hours must overlap with US time zones (EST/CST/PST).

Pay rate: USD 40/hour.

What you will do

• Provide L2/L3 support for enterprise applications and integrated platforms.
• Monitor production environments, troubleshoot application, workflow, integration, database, and API issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage incidents, service requests, change requests, and problem management activities in collaboration with engineering, operations, and business teams.
• Develop automation tools, utilities, and scripts using Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Develop and support REST API and Web Services integrations across applications, databases, cloud platforms, messaging systems, and vendor platforms.
• Participate in on-call rotations, platform upgrades, deployments, patching, release validation, and continuous service improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in application, product, production, or platform support.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, REST APIs, Web Services, SQL, and database troubleshooting.
• Linux/Unix fundamentals, log analysis, and performance troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with incident management, problem management, and enterprise applications in production environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be located in Argentina and able to overlap with US time zones (EST/CST/PST).

Nice to have

• Experience with Media Asset Management platforms, including Evertz MediatorX.
• Broadcast, OTT, streaming, or digital media industry experience.
• Knowledge of content ingest, transcoding, playout, or media workflows.
• Experience with Splunk, Grafana, ELK Stack, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, cloud platforms, messaging systems, or workflow orchestration tools.
