Integration Solutions Engineer (MuleSoft)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, and operate enterprise integrations on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Own the integration lifecycle, including API design, flow development, observability, and ongoing optimization.
• Develop secure, reliable, and reusable integration assets using API-led connectivity practices.
• Partner with enterprise architects, application teams, integration partners, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into engineered solutions.
• Contribute to code and design reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and mentor more junior engineers.

Requirements

• Five or more years of integration experience, with a strong focus on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, Mule runtime, and CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or hybrid deployment.
• Strong understanding of API-led connectivity and RAML/OAS API design.
• Experience with API security standards including OAuth2, mTLS, JWT, and Anypoint API Manager.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD for MuleSoft and event-driven integration with Anypoint MQ or Kafka.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, plus strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect credentials.
• Experience with multi-cloud Mule runtime deployment, FinOps, and integration cost management.
• Experience implementing zero-trust API security models.
• Working knowledge of GraphQL APIs on Anypoint Platform.
