Maintenance Technician - Level 3 (EV & Energy Storage)

Location: De Soto, Kansas, United States; onsite, night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and rotating Wednesday

What you will do

• Maintain production equipment and machinery through preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and replacement of consumable components.
• Perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on electro-mechanical equipment under guidance.
• Check machine settings, gauges, HMI interfaces, sensors, motors, and other components to identify abnormalities.
• Use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, measuring devices, and material-handling equipment to support repairs and equipment restoration.
• Support Total Preventive Maintenance, machine ownership, continuous improvement, and Standard Work activities.
• Document completed work, communicate equipment status, and collaborate with Operations and maintenance teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or two years of experience in the functional area.
• At least two years of relevant maintenance or technical work experience.
• Basic mathematical skills and the ability to perform standard calculations.
• Ability to learn production equipment and processes, work collaboratively, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Successful completion of the Ramsay mechanical or electrical aptitude assessment.
• Working-level English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking, and valid authorization to work in the United States without restriction.

Nice to have

• Four or more years of relevant maintenance or technical work experience.
• Associate degree or higher in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electrical technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Lean Manufacturing Certification or Yellow Belt, journeyman certification, or PECNA technical training.
• Manufacturing or production experience, PLC training, or completion of the PECNA Maintenance Apprenticeship Program.
