Maintenance Technician - Level 3 - Formation D Shift (Thurs, Fri, Sat & Rotating Wed)

Location: De Soto, Kansas, United States; onsite. D shift runs 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday. Candidates must have valid unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, inspections, and component replacement on production equipment.
• Carry out basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on electro-mechanical machinery under guidance.
• Check HMI displays, sensors, gauges, motors, and machine settings to maintain operating specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, measuring devices, and material-handling equipment.
• Support equipment recovery, TPM, machine ownership, standard work, and continuous-improvement activities.
• Communicate equipment status and issues with Operations and Maintenance teams while escalating unresolved problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or two years of experience in the functional area.
• At least two years of relevant maintenance or technical work experience; four or more years is preferred.
• Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills, adaptability, teamwork, and the ability to learn production equipment and processes.
• Working-level English proficiency for reading, writing, and speaking.
• Successful completion of a Ramsay mechanical or electrical aptitude assessment.
• Ability to work the scheduled overnight onsite shift and valid unrestricted U.S. work authorization.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or higher in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Lean Manufacturing Certification or Yellow Belt, Journeyman Certification, or PECNA technical training.
• Manufacturing or production experience, PLC training, or completion of the PECNA Maintenance Apprenticeship Program.
