Group Finance Operations Lead

Location: Remote from Manila, Philippines; Australian working hours. The role is structured as 0.8 FTE, four days per week.

Salary: PHP 90,000–115,000 per month.

hirify.global manages a small portfolio of related Australian entities, including an operating company, a health and wellness business with physical product inventory, and a family investment trust.

What you will do

• Run bookkeeping, month-end close, AP/AR, payroll coordination, reporting, and financial controls across multiple entities.
• Manage weekly cash flow, cash visibility, runway tracking, working capital, and supplier payment terms.
• Coordinate with the owner, external Australian accountant, tax advisors, and sales and marketing stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve processes in Xero, ApprovalMax, Unleashed, and the family budgeting system.
• Plan inventory using reorder points, EOQ, and S&OP rhythms.
• Identify cost savings, improve operational discipline, and proactively push financial and commercial insights.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of finance and operations experience with SMEs or owner-operated businesses.
• Deep, current experience with Xero in multi-entity setups, including trusts.
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax processes, including BAS, GST, super, STP, and FBT.
• Demonstrated experience managing detailed weekly cash flow and improving DSO, late fees, or working capital.
• Fluency in Google Sheets and experience extending financial models.
• Inventory management experience, analytical ability, and a proactive approach to delivering insights.
