Bookkeeper (eCommerce)

Location: Remote in the Philippines; US Business Hours, 12AM–9AM PHT with a one-hour lunch break.

What you will do

• Maintain accurate records across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, amortizations, and other accounts.
• Record and reconcile daily sales across Amazon, Shopify, and TikTok, as well as payment processor accounts including PayPal, Stripe, Amazon Payments, and TikTok.
• Manage vendor payments, expenses, documentation, monthly reconciliations, audits, and month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly P&L statements and financial reports for management review.
• Analyze trends, variances, cost-saving opportunities, and other financial insights to support leadership decisions.
• Manage inventory valuation and COGS recognition, support budgeting and forecasting, investigate irregular activity, and improve financial processes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience with a strong understanding of GAAP principles.
• Required experience in eCommerce or online retail accounting, including multi-channel transactions and reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, COGS, amortization, and cost recognition.
• Proficiency with accounting software; QuickBooks experience is preferred.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet reporting deadlines.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Amazon FBA accounting and multi-channel eCommerce experience.
• Experience with inventory management systems and cost accounting methodologies.
• Experience implementing process improvements in accounting or financial operations.
