Operations Maintenance Technician

Location: Onsite at Unit 1 Badgers Rise, Ridgemont, England MK43 0YL, United Kingdom

Salary: £45,093.53 plus night allowance

What you will do

• Organize maintenance teams and equipment to repair and service plant and sortation machinery safely and efficiently.
• Monitor attendance, team performance, workflow, documentation, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Depot and Operations Managers, Section Leaders, and the Control Room to resolve operational issues.
• Maintain smooth traffic flow across the machinery while meeting health and safety requirements.
• Complete nightly maintenance records and follow operational procedures.
• Ensure equipment is returned to designated areas and remains safe, efficient, and properly reported when defective.

Requirements

• City & Guilds Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• Knowledge of 16th or 17th Edition electrical regulations.
• Proven electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematic drawings and understand PLC-controlled equipment.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation.
• Full driving licence and flexibility to work the required shifts.
