Maintenance Manager

Location: On-site in Avonmouth and Magor, United Kingdom; working across both distribution centres and local sites.

What you will do

• Lead maintenance operations across the Avonmouth and Magor distribution centres.
• Manage, develop, and coach a team of approximately 10–20 multi-skilled technicians.
• Ensure legal, statutory, Tesco, health, safety, and site compliance standards are met.
• Manage contractors, escalations, KPIs, budgets, workload, and operational capacity.
• Use data and insight to identify issues, implement sustainable solutions, and improve productivity.
• Build effective relationships with distribution-centre leadership, Property, external partners, and wider business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Technical qualification in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, or building services.
• Proven success in people leadership and team development.
• Experience managing large-scale maintenance operations or remote facilities.
• Technical maintenance experience in a comparable environment.
• Ability to manage compliance, health and safety, budgets, contractors, and continuous improvement initiatives.
