Senior Maintenance Technician

Location: Onsite at Unit 1 Badgers Rise, Ridgemont, England MK43 0YL, United Kingdom

Salary: £51,874.20 per year plus allowance

What you will do

• Repair and service plant, machinery, and sortation equipment in line with recognised standards and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and equipment to complete work safely and minimise operational downtime.
• Supervise the maintenance team, monitor attendance and performance, and complete required documentation.
• Monitor workflow, identify operational risks, and take or delegate corrective action.
• Liaise with Depot and Operations Managers, Section Leaders, and the Control Room to resolve issues.
• Maintain equipment in safe, efficient working order and ensure smooth traffic flow across the sortation machine.

Requirements

• City & Guilds qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of 16th or 17th Edition electrical regulations.
• Proven electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematic drawings and understand PLC-controlled equipment.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation and a full driving licence.
• Flexibility to work Monday to Friday across shifts of 07:30–16:00 and 13:30–22:00, for 40 hours per week.
