Workday Configuration Analyst (Workday)

Location: Houston, Texas; onsite work at the Houston office is preferred, with remote work considered for the right candidate. Candidates must have unrestricted US work authorization without current or future sponsorship requirements.

What you will do

• Configure and support Workday modules including Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Learning, Talent, and Absence.
• Design and enhance Workday business processes and translate stakeholder requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Support Workday releases through impact analysis, testing, deployment, and defect resolution.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, hubs, and data extracts for People operations and decision-making.
• Provide Tier 2 support through the Workday Help queue, troubleshoot complex system and data issues, and maintain user documentation and training materials.
• Plan and execute high-volume EIB data loads while supporting data governance, privacy, audit, and security requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, data analytics, business administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting HRIS, IT, HR technology, or enterprise systems.
• Hands-on Workday configuration experience in one or more functional areas, with experience supporting implementations, enhancements, or post-production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Workday business process frameworks, security models, reporting tools, data analysis, releases, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, troubleshooting, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Unrestricted US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship and employment-based permanent residence sponsorship are not available.
