Assistant Project Manager (Land Development)

Location: Daytona Beach, Florida, United States. Willingness to travel to job sites is required.

hirify.global is recruiting for a leading homebuilder in Florida developing large-scale residential communities across multiple Florida markets.

What you will do

• Support the day-to-day management of land development and permitting projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, local governments, internal teams, and community stakeholders.
• Track project budgets, schedules, milestones, feasibility analyses, invoices, and expenses.
• Solicit, review, and evaluate consultant and contractor bids and proposals.
• Participate in Architecture Review Board meetings and support construction bid, award, and contractor selection processes.
• Attend construction meetings and job-site visits, assess project progress and risks, and represent the client on HOA and CDD Boards as needed.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of real estate land development experience, including at least 2 years in project management, real estate transactions, architecture or engineering, or infrastructure construction management.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
• Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including cross-functional and community stakeholder collaboration.
• Commitment, tenacity, and accountability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Stable work history, willingness to travel to job sites, and interest in growing into increased leadership responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Community Development Districts (CDD).
