Cyber Underwriter (BE/NL)

What you will do

• Underwrite and price cyber risks for SME and mid-market companies according to underwriting guidelines, risk appetite, and authority limits.
• Monitor and manage the financial performance of the Benelux cyber portfolio and report directly to the Head of Underwriting.
• Support sales teams in strategic broker and client meetings to help secure key accounts.
• Collaborate with Incident Response teams and Claims departments on threat intelligence and claims trends.
• Drive cyber awareness and pipeline growth across the Benelux region.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of dedicated cyber underwriting experience at an insurance company, MGA, or specialized broker.
• Experience handling cyber risks in the Benelux market, with strong knowledge of SME and mid-market businesses.
• Strong financial acumen and technical understanding of cybersecurity frameworks.
• Collaborative and commercially minded approach to supporting sales efforts.
• Native or bilingual Flemish/Dutch proficiency is essential.
• Fluent/business-proficient English is required for written and spoken corporate and internal reporting.

Nice to have

• French, German, Spanish, Italian, or another European language.
