Associate / VP Sustainable Solutions Group (Sustainable Finance)

What you will do

• Analyze wholesale banking clients’ ESG profiles, sustainability strategies, and performance.
• Originate sustainable transactions across wholesale banking products and prepare tailored client pitch books.
• Build client relationships and manage sustainable finance deals from origination through execution and signing.
• Assess green, social, sustainable, and transition criteria, ESG ratings, and regulatory developments including the EU Taxonomy.
• Structure financing and advisory solutions that support client transition pathways while addressing balance sheet, capital allocation, funding, risk, regulatory, and stakeholder objectives.
• Maintain internal data quality, monitor market developments, and support internal and external profiling of sustainable business initiatives.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of commercial experience in financial transactions, structured finance, debt capital markets, credit analysis, deal structuring, sustainability, or related roles.
• Active client-facing front-office experience with transaction origination and execution.
• Experience with ESG or sustainability-related content in banking, industry, or regulatory environments.
• Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or another relevant discipline.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to connect sustainability, finance, and treasury disciplines.
• Fluent English, verbal and written, is required.
