Vehicle Launch Specialist (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Dallas, TX, United States; on-site. The role may require rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, early mornings, and holidays.

What you will do

• Safely operate autonomous yard trucks both inside the vehicle and remotely.
• Execute software and hardware tests according to established test plans and procedures.
• Help develop and implement new testing procedures.
• Monitor onboard and offboard systems and provide clear, concise feedback.
• Systematically isolate, track, document, and triage technical issues.
• Interact with customers as an ambassador for hirify.global’s autonomous vehicle technology.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old with at least five years of driving experience; autonomous vehicle or test vehicle experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, learn new software and processes quickly, and operate modern automotive systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, technical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and procedures.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving history required; driving records are checked regularly.
• Must pass safety and performance checkpoints, drug screening, a criminal background check, and an annual DOT-based physical.
• Must be able to operate a vehicle, use a laptop in a moving vehicle, and work outdoors for up to 10 hours per day.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Linux, Google Suite, Jira, Slack, and Git.
• Experience in a professional environment emphasizing safety, honesty, procedures, or software testing.
