Mechanical Engineer (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Must be based in Pittsburgh, PA (On-site)

What you will do

• Lead vehicle and component bringup and provide R&D support.
• Troubleshoot and identify root causes for software and hardware faults across vehicle platforms.
• Provide technical support for the autonomous vehicle fleet.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance and testing efficiency.
• Develop and execute on-vehicle test plans to verify functional and interface requirements.
• Coordinate with OEMs to understand communication interfaces on bench and vehicle.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in debugging complex systems, preferably in autonomous vehicles or robotics.
• Strong hands-on experience with automotive cameras.
• Proficiency in sensor data acquisition, processing, and analysis.
• Experience with signal processing, statistics, and machine learning algorithms.
• Strong experience with Linux environments and scripting languages.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
