Engineering Support Supervisor (Robotics)

Location: Onsite at the Fremont, California office; U.S.-based role with approximately 25% travel as needed.

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead daily task allocation and operations for Engineering Technicians, ensuring project goals and quality standards are met.
• Perform complex assembly, system bring-up, testing, debugging, and technical rework for components and prototypes.
• Mentor technicians through training, feedback, career guidance, and cross-functional work instruction development.
• Prioritize work across departments, resolve technical or resource conflicts, and remove project roadblocks.
• Maintain engineering documentation, test procedures, assembly instructions, and subject-matter expertise for new products.
• Maintain and repair engineering robot fleet assets, improve processes, and reduce mean time to repair.

Requirements

• AS degree in Electronics Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field, and/or 5+ years of equivalent experience in an engineering development environment.
• At least 1 year of experience in a lead or supervisory capacity, including onboarding, performance reviews, goal setting, and coaching.
• Extensive experience with electronics prototyping, soldering, complex system debugging, PCBA schematics, and wire assembly drawings.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic tools, 3D printers, power supplies, digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and engineering lab equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to work with limited documentation and translate engineering objectives into technician tasks.
• Current authorization to work in the United States is required.

• Linux command-line skills.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
