Engineer Lead Senior

Location: Hybrid role requiring in-office work 1–2 days per week within reasonable commuting distance of an hirify.global office. Posting locations include Atlanta, Georgia; Walnut Creek and Woodland Hills, California; and Norfolk and Richmond, Virginia. The salary range is specified for candidates working in California or Virginia.

Salary: $150,640–$271,152 per year.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end application system development and maintenance across complex enterprise technology platforms.
• Gather business requirements, review designs, define application scope, and supervise technical and functional specifications.
• Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, unit testing, system testing, and production implementation.
• Own change requests, enhancement roadmaps, system monitoring, and on-call support coordination.
• Define architecture, scaling and reliability strategies, future technology needs, and multi-year technology direction.
• Build consensus on major technology decisions and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 9 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Expertise with business and technical applications and experience with multidimensional platforms.
• Experience leading large or multiple projects, mentoring others, and providing troubleshooting support.
• Experience with multiple databases and/or programming languages.
• Experience with Java-based web applications and cloud platforms; AWS experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in-office 1–2 days per week and remain within reasonable commuting distance of a posting location.
