AWS Cloud Engineer (Networking)

Location: Hybrid, onsite 2–3 days per week in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States; on-call shift support is required.

hirify.global is offering a full-time cloud engineering opportunity supporting a client’s AWS infrastructure and migration program.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure for high availability, scalability, and security.
• Act as the client’s internal lead for migration from on-premises infrastructure to AWS.
• Build and maintain infrastructure, tools, and processes for software development and deployment pipelines.
• Bridge development and operations to support efficient collaboration and reliable software delivery.
• Provide on-call shift support for cloud infrastructure and services.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer focused on AWS services and technologies.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, security principles, routing and switching, firewalls, Netscaler, and Cisco technologies; Palo Alto experience is preferred.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
