Vehicle Integration Technician (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Onsite in Lancaster, TX, United States; occasional travel to fleet, partner, or field sites is required.

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and upfit first-article autonomous vehicle systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and identify root causes across mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
• Maintain and improve vehicle systems to increase fleetwide uptime.
• Test mechanical and electrical components and assemblies.
• Create and review work instructions, redlines, and manufacturing or service feedback.
• Inspect hardware quality and help resolve manufacturing and build issues while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on diagnostic and repair experience with mechanical and electrical systems in a relevant technical environment.
• Experience with prototype, first-article, or low-volume builds and operating test equipment.
• Ability to diagnose intermittent electrical faults and read schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness diagrams.
• Ability to create and use technical documentation for safety-critical issues, work instructions, and engineering feedback.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted and work in confined or awkward positions for extended periods.
• Ability to work safely around moving parts, elevated platforms, and high-voltage or high-energy systems while using required PPE.
