Senior Vehicle Integration Engineer (Autonomous Vehicles)

What you will do

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for a customer-facing autonomous vehicle product.
• Coordinate and execute complex vehicle repairs and upgrades with mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing, and vehicle operations teams.
• Own the design-for-manufacturing and serviceability feedback loop and influence product architecture.
• Oversee hardware quality inspections and resolve manufacturing and build issues across the fleet.
• Lead development of vehicle and subsystem bills of materials, technical documentation, and verification plans.
• Diagnose and repair hardware and system issues while supporting technicians and establishing repeatable, auditable procedures.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 6+ years of experience in autonomous vehicles, automotive, or a related industry.
• Strong systems analysis, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with automotive electronics, Ethernet, and CAN communication protocols.
• Experience with Python or MATLAB for scripting and data analysis.
• Understanding of Linux-based systems, computer networking, and electrical and mechanical CAD software.
• Ability to lead projects, document technical work clearly, participate in design reviews, and drive testing through analysis, corrective actions, and final reporting.
