Workday Platform Engineer (Workday)

Location: 100% Remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Configure Workday across HCM and Finance, including business processes, condition rules, and security.
• Design advanced and composite reports using Workday Report Writer and calculated fields.
• Support Workday integrations, tenant management, and platform release processes.
• Develop lightweight applications and extensions with Workday Extend.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into maintainable Workday solutions with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Contribute through code and design reviews while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of Workday technical experience; the posting also references six or more years of experience.
• Deep expertise in advanced and composite Workday reports and calculated fields.
• Hands-on experience with business process configuration, condition rules, and the Workday security framework.
• Experience with PRISM Analytics or Workday Extend, plus familiarity with tenant management and releases.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Workday Pro certifications.
• Workday Extend application development experience.
• PRISM data ingestion and modeling familiarity.
• Experience with multi-tenant or multi-region deployments.
• Experience supporting Workday Payroll or Workday Financials.
