CAD Designer (AutoCAD)

Location: Remote from Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines; working hours aligned with Australian Business Hours.

Salary: PHP 90,000–95,000 per month.

What you will do

• Interpret client briefs, brand guidelines and project objectives to develop exhibition environments, branded spaces and custom displays.
• Create accurate 2D CAD plans, elevations, sections, construction details and detailed 3D models.
• Produce photorealistic renders using 3ds Max, V-Ray and Corona Renderer.
• Prepare production, construction and shop drawings for fabricators, carpenters, joiners and installers.
• Design custom joinery, display units, counters, walling, signage elements and freestanding structures using practical, buildable and cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with Designers, Producers, the Managing Director, fabricators, suppliers and installation teams while managing revisions, documentation and urgent deadlines.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in a Designer or CAD Drafter role within exhibitions, custom stands or retail shopfitting.
• Advanced AutoCAD proficiency, including 2D drafting, 3D modelling, drawing standards and CAD file management.
• Strong 3D modelling and visualisation skills using Autodesk 3ds Max, including photorealistic rendering with Chaos V-Ray and Corona Renderer.
• Advanced production-drawing and shop-drawing skills, with the ability to create documentation that production teams can accurately manufacture from.
• Essential experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro.
• Required competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project, plus strong knowledge of fabrication, construction methods, materials, substrates and installation requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with modular exhibition systems such as Octanorm, Maxima, Aluvision or beMatrix.
• Experience working with timber, custom joinery, metal, plastics, acrylic, signage and graphic substrates.
• Experience working directly with fabricators, carpenters, cabinetmakers, joiners and installation teams.
• Interest in interiors, architecture, spatial design, lighting, materials and contemporary design trends.
