Principal AI Architect

What you will do

• Define technical strategy and lead architecture across cloud, data, and AI/ML systems for end-to-end engagements.
• Design scalable cloud-native, multi-cloud, hybrid, data, and AI/ML solutions, including model serving, MLOps pipelines, feature stores, and LLM applications.
• Set infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, DevOps, security, governance, compliance, and observability standards.
• Drive performance, scalability, cost, reliability, cloud migration, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Act as the principal technical voice with leadership, clients, engineering, data, AI, and product teams.
• Mentor experienced engineers and architects while owning complex architectural and integration decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in technical leadership.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native architecture, including microservices, serverless, containers, and event-driven systems.
• Strong experience with data architecture, relational and NoSQL systems, big data, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and orchestration.
• Production experience designing AI/ML systems, including LLMs, MLOps, model serving, and tools such as SageMaker, Vertex AI, MLflow, Hugging Face, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code, CI/CD, networking, cloud security, identity and access management, governance, compliance, observability, Python, APIs, and containerization.
• Strong technical leadership, mentoring, stakeholder communication, and demonstrable use of AI-forward tools such as Claude and Cursor.

Nice to have

• Multi-cloud architecture experience, responsible AI or AI ethics experience, or enterprise architecture certifications.
• Experience integrating AI/ML solutions with SAP EAM data structures through SAP BTP or cloud-native APIs.
