Solutions Architect (Cloud/AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and perform all work in the U.S. Client meetings and collaboration activities may be required. U.S. citizenship and three full years of U.S. residence within the last five years are required.

Salary: $119,323.00–$202,850.00 annually.

What you will do

• Translate enterprise architecture principles, standards, and guardrails into reusable solution architectures and implementation patterns.
• Develop solution designs, architecture decision records, reference architectures, interoperability guidance, and Architecture Review Board packages.
• Evaluate business and technical use cases, integration constraints, dependencies, risks, and architectural tradeoffs.
• Guide cloud architecture, API strategies, data integration, migration readiness, modernization roadmaps, and technology adoption planning.
• Partner with Platform Engineering, Security, Compliance, Data, delivery, and customer-facing teams to align technical decisions and resolve architectural conflicts.
• Improve architecture standards, governance processes, security practices, and enterprise solution design.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship, U.S. residence, U.S. work authorization, and performance of all work in the U.S. are required.
• Three full years of residence in the U.S. within the last five years are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Enterprise Architecture, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent additional experience.
• At least 8 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale solution architectures.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Ability to balance business objectives, technical constraints, cost, security, performance, and operational requirements.

Nice to have

• AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, or comparable certifications.
• Experience with Azure, AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Power BI.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms, MLOps, Azure Machine Learning, Databricks ML, MLflow, NLP frameworks, and modern lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with Terraform, GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, data governance, cataloging, lineage, access control, Zero Trust, SSO, NIST 800-53, and FIPS-compliant security.
• Experience supporting federal government programs, enterprise shared services, and large-scale modernization initiatives.
