Senior Frontend Architect - Client Engagement

Location: Hybrid work environment in Stamford, Connecticut, United States

Base salary: USD 120,000–167,000 per year, plus an annual bonus or role-based incentive plan.

What you will do

• Architect, design, and guide modern frontend solutions for millions of end users.
• Define robust frontend architecture focused on massive scalability, high performance, security, and simplicity.
• Own the technology roadmap for client experience applications over the next several years.
• Research modernization opportunities and develop reusable modules and frameworks for other engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Product Development, SRE, and DevOps in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Promote software quality and strong engineering practices across application development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development, architecture, customer-facing products, or web applications.
• Expertise in architecture design and implementation of architectural patterns.
• Strong frontend application experience with React and Next.js.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration, including Kubernetes or service mesh technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and understanding of core concepts and deployment strategies.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related engineering field, with strong problem-solving, communication, organization, and ownership skills.

Nice to have

• Dedicated experience working as an architect.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Experience optimizing web page performance and knowledge of mobile application frameworks.
• Experience with AI tools such as Copilot and Claude Code.
